Personal data owners have the rights specified in Article 11 of the Law:

  • To request information if personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used appropriately,
  • To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
  • To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Law,
  • To request notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction processes to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
  • To object to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To request compensation for damages due to unlawful processing of personal data.
You can submit your applications to exercise these rights in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board to our Agency.
